After choosing a destination, guests are shown to their own private bungalow where the tanning adventure begins.

Each private bungalow is elegantly prepared with all of the tanning amenities guests will need – essential personal items, fresh towels, protective eyewear, refreshing bottled water and anything else they may request. There is a private AM/FM/CD/cassette stereo with personal stereo headset to enjoy personalized music while tanning. There is also another headset marked “ESCAPE” where guests can listen to the soothing sounds of ocean waves while enjoying their tanning experience.

Mystic Tan : The Mystic Tan ™ Sunless Tanning System is designed to deliver a customized sunless tanning application based on the guest's body size, skin type, and desired color. There are three tanning level options available to produce the optimal tanning results for each guest.

Once the proper tanning level for the guest has been determined, The Palms' staff shows their guest a short instructional video that walks them through the entire Mystic process step-by-step.

Inside the private Mystic Tan ™ bungalow the guest will simply disrobe and enter the Mystic booth. With the push of a button the session begins with a fine mist of Aloe Vera enriched Sunless-Tanning Solution being sprayed through the proprietary patented Magne Tan nozzles.

The Magne Tan technology insures uniform coverage over the entire body, which the natural sunless tanning solution instantly transforms into a quick natural-looking tan, without streaking or unnatural “orange” coloration, that continues to darken into a deep, beautiful tan throughout the day.

The Mystic Tan ™ is a full-body, DHA tanning process that utilizes MagneTan ™ technology, a revolutionary process that allows the booth to apply a uniform amount of tanning solution to all parts of the body. When the special Mystic Tan ™ solution passes through the booth's nozzles, the particles of solution are polarized, taking on the characteristics of tiny magnets. Tanning Lotions Include:

The Palms Tanning Resort exclusively offers the finest tanning lotions available today, which include California Tan, Matahari, Emerald Bay and Supre.

Step I products are formulated for beginning tanners with little or no existing tan. Each tanning lotion delivers essential moisture and nutrients to the skin to help develop a rich, golden-brown base tan. They are available in a range of scientifically-based formulas, from classic lotions to bronzers and shimmering gels.

Products include: Ambrosia, Ganja, Ginger Spice, X-Speed, Sexy Tan, Lustrous and Smoke.

Step II products are formulated for tanners who reach a ‘tanning plateau,' a point when they have reached a base tan but can't seem to get any darker. These lotions are scientifically formulated to optimize UV-response to get the darkest tan possible. They are available in classic formulas, bronzing formulas and Hot-Action formulas.

Products include: X-Power, Dark Ganja, Arctic Fever, Spiked Butter, Mojo Darkening Sauce, Coconut Colada and Smoke Black Bronzer.

Step III products help to replenish moisture and nutrients lost to the skin during UV-exposure. The use of a Step Three product should follow every tanning session, whether the guest is in the beginning or advanced stages of tanning. By keeping skin moisturized and conditioned, the guest will help protect the longevity and radiance of their tan. For best results, it is recommended to use a Step One or Step Two product during UV-exposure and to apply a Step Three product daily after tanning and/or bathing to complete the tanning regimen and lock in results.
